The little princess starts her dance class tonight so that’s always a fun time – oh wait, no it isn’t and I leave that to her mother. This is her second year and she actually does a pretty damn good job for only being 3 years old. The dance recital – well, that was pretty brutal for me. It was awesome watching her, but two hours of that crap – forget about it!
We are getting ready to order her Halloween costume as well. My wife looked online for a bunch and I think we settled on a, wait for it…..yep, a Disney princess dress! Woo hoo! Go figure. I told my wife that I thought we had every one known to man, but she informed me that we needed a new one because Halloween is different. Not sure what the hell she meant there, but I guess I went along with it. I really think we had a conversation earlier this summer at Disney that when we bought her the Cinderella costume that it would be used again at Halloween – guess I’m wrong. Or I’m not wrong and the wifey is trying to pull a fast one on me. Yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s it.
So the house is moving right along. We are scheduled to close near the end of September/beginning of October. The inspections and all of that crap are coming up here shortly so I’m praying that nothing is wrong with either house. A little odds and ends work won’t kill me, but I don’t want to be putting in tons of work when we are moving out soon. F that.
Anyway, the weather is getting colder at night so the HD household will be having fires at the fire pits before the move! Nothing better than that to be honest. Fire, couple beers, talking smack. Sounds like a good plan to me.
